Guests at the Grand Bay Hotel Isla Navidad are accommodated in one of 199 over-sized luxurious guestrooms and suites including a Presidential Suite, two Governor Suites, three Master Suites, eight Marina Suites, twelve Executive Suites, and fifteen Parlor Suites. Rooms are adorned with hand carved wood, old world handmade Mexican tile floors and almost all have majestic views of the Pacific Ocean, bay, lagoon or marina.

All rooms feature air conditioning, a balcony with sitting area, servi-bar, ceiling fans, safe deposit boxes and a 25 inch color television set with satellite hook up. 4-Diamond Award winner gourmet restaurant that provides an intimate and cozy Mexican Hacienda style dinning experience, serving select international and regional cuisine for dinner. The attire is “Smart Casual”; no T-shirts, sleeveless shirts (men), sandals, denim or shorts please.

The lobby bar El Faro, prepares national and international cocktails in an intimate atmosphere. El Faro's terrace boasts magnificent views of the bay and mountain landscapes.

For sun worshippers the Grand Bay Hotel Isla Navidad features three swimming pools, a private beach and a sea walk offering magnificent views of the bay & lagoon. For those who enjoy boating or fishing, the marina offers the pleasure of chartering a yacht or harboring their own. The marina has 207 slips and offers full service facilities. The Pacific Ocean is world renown for big game fishing & tournaments. The fishing village, Barra de Navidad, is often referred to as “the privileged location on the natural corridor for sail fish migration.” Known in Spanish; Pez Vela (sail fish) and Atun (tuna) are available year around, Dorado (mahi mahi) is more seasonal from October through April. Both Marlin Azul y Negro (blue and black marlin), Pargo (tarpon) and Rabalo (snook) run in the area’s blue water twelve months a year.

Location & Area Attractions

The Grand Bay Hotel Isla Navidad is about 35 minutes from the Manzanillo International Airport along the Manzanillo - Puerto Vallarta road; the hotel is located between Melaque and Cihuatlan towns. There is also direct access to Isla Navidad from Guadalajara through the new Guadalajara - Manzanillo expressway; driving time is approximately 4 hours.

From Manzanillo's Playa de Oro International Airport the Resort is a 35-minute drive north of highway 2001

Flight times from major cities include: 1 hour from Mexico city, 2 1/2 hours from Phoenix, 3 hours from Dallas or Los Angeles, and 4 1/2 hours from Chicago or Denver.
